Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a university degree, preferably in commerce or business administration
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of related experience in compliance analysis, quality assurance, risk mitigation, and training in a public sector or higher education setting

- The candidates should have a strong knowledge of GAAP and be conversant with relevant SAP or comparable ERP modules
- The candidates should have the ability to anticipate and mitigate financial risks or penalties
- The candidates should possess superb written and oral communication skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to advise staff on accounting practices and University financial policies and procedures
- The candidates should be able to interpret and apply policies and procedures when making independent decisions
- The candidates should be able to apply the University Guide to Financial Management and other applicable policies, agency, and regulatory requirements
- The candidates should be able to apply generally accepted accounting principles to all financial tasks
- The candidates should be able to identify and analyze data discrepancies and take necessary actions to correct errors
- The candidates should be able to implement compliance monitoring functions and/or plans
- The candidates should be able to foster cooperative working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external contacts, serve as a resource to a group or on a function
