Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Area of specialization: Correspondence, Invoices, and Charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, and MS Office

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events, record and prepare minutes of meetings accurately and promptly, and determine and establish office procedures and routines to streamline operations and improve efficiency
  • The candidates should be able to schedule and confirm appointments for clients, colleagues, or supervisors efficiently, answer telephone calls promptly and accurately, and respond to electronic inquiries via email or other digital communication channels in a professional manner
  • The candidates should be able to compile data, statistics, and other information for reports or presentations as needed, order office supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock, and greet visitors entering the office, directing them to appropriate contacts or service areas
  • The candidates should be able to open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail, set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, and type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents accurately to maintain professional standards
