Work setting: Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, MS Office

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be capable of meeting tight deadlines and demonstrate attention to detail in their work
  • The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks as part of their duties and be able to work with minimal supervision as needed

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to multitask effectively and show flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances
  • The candidates should maintain an organized approach to their work and be effective team players, collaborating well with colleagues
  • The candidates should be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities and possess strong time management skills to meet deadlines
  • The candidates should be quick learners, able to grasp new concepts and tasks efficiently

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, determine and establish office procedures and routines, and answer telephone calls and relay messages
  • The candidates should be able to answer electronic inquiries, order office supplies and maintain inventory, and arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
  • The candidates should be able to greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material, and coordinate the flow of information
  • The candidates should be able to set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, and perform data entry
  • The candidates should be able to provide customer service
