Huong Law Professional Corporation based in Toronto, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Administrative clerk. Huong Law Professional Corporation provides compassionate guidance and legal support in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division. We also offers expertise in immigration law, helping clients navigate the complexities of Canadian immigration, work permits, visas, and citizenship applications. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $16.55 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) 40 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time

Shifts: Day
Asset languages: Vietnamese

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Computer and technology knowledge: Desktop publishing software, MS Windows, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and a repetitive tasker
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be client focus, hardworking, quick learner, and organized
  • The candidates should have excellent written communication, and time management

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents, receive and forward telephone or electronic enquiries
  • The candidates should be able to sort, process and verify applications, receipts and other documents, process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically
  • The candidates should be able to perform basic bookkeeping tasks, provide general information to clients and the public
  • The candidates should be able to compile data, statistics and other information, photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing
  • The candidates should be able to order office supplies and maintain inventory, file material in storage area
  • The candidates should be able to label files according to retention and disposal schedules, label, file and retrieve documents
  • The candidates should be able to organize and schedule office work, perform data entry, provide customer service
