Salary: $35.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Overtime, To be determined, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation
Work setting: Clinic and office of healthcare professional
Supervision: 3-4 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Spanish
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams, contracts, correspondence, invoices, reports and records, and statistics
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Word, electronic mail, MS Excel, MS Windows, and electronic medical records

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and capable of working under pressure
  • The candidates should have attention to detail and be able to handle a large caseload

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accurate in their work, have a client focus, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and have excellent oral and written communication abilities
  • The candidates should be flexible in their approach, demonstrate initiative, exercise good judgment, and be organized individuals
  • The candidates should be reliable team players

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to schedule and confirm appointments, complete insurance and other claim forms, and maintain a filing system
  • The candidates should be able to perform general clerical work, such as ordering supplies and maintaining inventory, and determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • The candidates should be able to enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence, prepare spreadsheets and documents for review, initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, supervise and train other staff in procedures and in the use of current software, manage office operations, and interpret language for individuals and small groups
