R.J.R. Innovations, Inc based in Gloucester, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Analyst, systems technical support. R.J.R. Innovations, Inc. provides innovative, customized business process consulting, software implementation services and L1 bilingual support for multiple ITSM solutions. We have our own suite of products that encompass a blend of processes, procedures and products that are easily customized to fit each Customer’s goals and objectives. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $45,000 to $65,000 annually (to be negotiated) 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time
Location: Gloucester, ON Remote work available

Transportation information: The candidates should have own transport
Work setting: Computer hardware or software retailer/wholesaler, Help desk, Telecommunications industry

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Computer and technology knowledge: Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Internet, Desktop applications, MS Windows, SQL
Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to sit for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be client focus, should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent written communication, and should be able to work as a team player

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced, consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions
  • The candidates should be able to provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties, collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
  • The candidates should be able to participate in the redesign of applications and other software, supervise other technical support workers in this group
  • The candidates should be able to provide business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
  • The candidates should be able to set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
