: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is available

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Computer and technology knowledge: Networking software, Networking hardware, Security software, Programming software, Website creation and management software, Programming languages, Software development, Computer-aided design (CAD), MS Office, MS Windows
Security and safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and should be a repetitive tasker
  • The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to sit for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be client focus, accurate, flexible, and organized
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced
  • The candidates should be able to consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions, provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
  • The candidates should be able to collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts, participate in the redesign of applications and other software
  • The candidates should be able to supervise other technical support workers in this group
  • The candidates should be able to provide business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
