Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance or a related field
Experience: Candidates should have Proven experience (5+ years) in IT asset management or related roles within large organizations

  • The candidates should possess familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 19770 for Software Asset Management (SAM)
  • The candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions
  • The candidates should exhibit strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams in a complex organizational setting
  • The candidates should have exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to develop and implement an IT asset management strategy aligned with the organization’s goals, objectives, and Enterprise Architecture (EA) standards
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with senior leadership to establish policies, procedures, and guidelines for effective asset management and financial practices adhering to EA governance and principles
  • The candidates should be able to work with IT Leadership to define an IT Vendor Management framework and templates
  • The candidates should be able to manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets, including software assets, from procurement to retirement in accordance with EA standards
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate with procurement teams to ensure accurate tracking of asset acquisitions and maintain an up-to-date inventory
  • The candidates should be able to establish processes for asset deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and decommissioning
  • The candidates should be able to implement software asset management practices to track licenses, usage rights, and compliance
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with technology owners and software vendors to optimize license agreements and ensure compliance with software usage policies
  • The candidates should be able to conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies or potential risks in software asset management
  • The candidates should be able to identify opportunities for process improvement and platform optimization in the budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of IT assets, contracts, and costs
  • The candidates should be able to ensure cost optimization through effective budgeting, forecasting, expenditure analysis, and vendor contract negotiations
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with finance teams to track costs associated with IT assets and identify areas for cost reduction or optimization
  • The candidates should be able to provide support to IT VPs in tracking and managing contracts, IT assets, and lifecycle management costs
  • The candidates should be able to lead a team of asset management and financial professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • The candidates should be able to conduct performance evaluations, mentorship programs, and training initiatives to develop employees’ skills
