Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have advanced College Diploma (3 years) or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have minimum two years of related experience in a University or equivalent environment such as a teaching hospital

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience coordinating postgraduate residency training programs
  • The candidates should demonstrate experience scheduling and coordinating timetables and/or rotations
  • The candidates should have experience interpreting and applying course/program policies and procedures
  • The candidates should possess experience supporting events and committees
  • The candidates should have experience maintaining databases and generating reports
  • The candidates should have advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, Adobe Professional, learning management systems, survey tools (Survey Monkey, Doodle), and web conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams)
  • The candidates should exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, maintaining a professional manner at all times
  • The candidates should have the ability to effectively communicate complicated regulatory requirements
  • The candidates should possess strong organizational and planning skills with a proven ability to multi-task, set priorities, meet deadlines, and facilitate others to do so
  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in adjusting to changing circumstances and in managing concurrent projects and tasks
  • The candidates should have a proven ability to problem-solve and take action
  • The candidates should have the ability to exercise judgment based on sound principles
  • The candidates should have experience working with POWER, Quercus, and Elentra
  • The candidates should excel as communicators, multitaskers, problem solvers, and team players

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide detailed information to residents on program and/or training requirements
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate the CaRMS application process and interview schedules
  • The candidates should be able to verify and review Royal College training requirements
  • The candidates should be able to troubleshoot timetabling and room booking conflicts
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate committees, including scheduling, agenda, minutes, and following up on action items
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate logistics for events and/or programming and arrange catering
  • The candidates should be able to draft and circulate correspondence to trainees and faculty
