Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have proven experience excelling in a sales environment (across any industry), with 2+ years of sales experience preferred

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should enjoy the challenge of exceeding targets and be able to effectively manage changing priorities
  • The candidates should have previous experience achieving objectives relating to sales results, effective customer hand-off, and adherence to compliance for products delivered and services offered
  • The candidates should be relationship builders focused on providing a great customer experience and deepening relationships with both new and existing customers

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to be responsible for onboarding customers that have purchased a mortgage through our indirect mortgage salesforce
  • The candidates should be able to deepen customer relationships through the sale of banking solutions
  • The candidates should be able to focus on results, driven by strong sales acumen, and enjoy meeting new people as a Client Solutions Advisor
  • The candidates should be able to develop and maintain relationships of mutual trust and confidence with customers, Mortgage Brokers, and key Scotiabank partners, ensuring successful transition of the customer
  • The candidates should be able to work variable hours, including weekends and evenings, and be available to meet customers at times convenient for them, both in person and virtually
  • The candidates should be able to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle during working hours
