Shifts: Day, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Medical exam, and Immunization records

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and demonstrate attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking as required

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should exhibit punctuality and be dependable, demonstrating interpersonal awareness and exercising good judgment
  • The candidates should be reliable team players who adhere to values and ethics and have the ability to multitask

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, leading activities such as storytelling, singing, and local outings
  • The candidates should be able to order supplies and equipment, encourage children’s creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity, and observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems
  • The candidates should be able to prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors, submit written observations to early childhood educators or supervisors, and assess the abilities, interests, and needs of children
  • The candidates should be able to discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members, attend staff meetings to discuss children’s progress and issues, and establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
  • The candidates should be able to plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
