Salary: $16.75 to $18.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 35 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Serving It Right Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as required by the job and comfortable standing for extended periods as necessary
- The candidates should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in adapting to various tasks and situations and show initiative by taking proactive steps to address challenges and improve processes
- The candidates should exhibit reliability in fulfilling their responsibilities consistently and demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating and supporting colleagues when needed
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages and be able to enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, present bills to customers, and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers’ cheques, or room billings
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers, advise on menu selections, and describe and advise on wine selection
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders, and relay them to kitchen and bar staff, train staff, and provide customer service
