Salary: $17.50 hourly for 8 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time leading to full time
Location: Etobicoke, ON
Shifts: Day, On Call, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation, public transportation is available, and travel expenses not paid by employer
Work setting: Coffee shop
On site:Â Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and Russian as an asset Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience:Â Conventional oven and Electronic cash register
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and pay attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to handle up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should focus on the client, demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, and be reliable
- The candidate should be a team player, have the ability to multitask, and take initiative
- The candidate should be dependable and have a positive attitude
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to keep records of the quantities of food used and package take-out food
- The candidates should be able to portion and wrap foods and prepare, heat and finish simple food items
- The candidates should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars and clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
- The candidates should be able to receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas and remove kitchen garbage and trash
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash and polish floors and serve food and beverages
