Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Languages (English, French, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Cantonese, or Mandarin)

Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be a knowledgeable source of information regarding flights, fares, destinations and special offers
- The candidate should be available to work shifts (we are a 24/7 operation) and be able to find creative solutions to complex customer situations
- The candidate should be an effective, self-motivated multi-tasker who can work independently with minimal supervision and be able to work effectively and independently with computer applications and online tools
- The candidate should have strong communication skills and be available to attend approximately six (6) weeks of our initial training program onsite in Moncton, NB
- The candidate should be available to report to our Contact Centre in Saint John periodically for coaching, meetings, etc. and meet eligibility criteria for remote work under the Collective Agreement
- The candidate should have a customer service experience within a Call Centre environment and have previous travel industry experience
- The candidate should have working knowledge of computer applications and the internet
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to perform remote work within a one-hundred and twenty (120) minute driving commute from our Contact Centre in Saint John, NB (1 Air Canada Way, Saint John, NB, E2K 0B1)
- The candidate should be able to work as being vitally important to our continued success as he/she will often be a customer’s first point of contact and also be able to create the first step
- The candidate should be able to love working with people and take pride in delivering memorable customer service, then he/she could be just moments away from landing your perfect role.
- The candidate should be able to provide exceptional customer service by answering every call promptly, courteously, and professionally
- The candidate should be able to use Air Canada’s reservation system to make new flight reservations or modify existing bookings and also be able to ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely resolutions to customer inquiries
