Salary: $20.00 to $28.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent employment
Location: Stoney Creek, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Early Morning and Morning
Work setting: Private sector and willing to relocate


Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Type of data entry: Alpha-numeric
Keystrokes per hour: 12,001 – 14,000 sph
Technical terminology: Business
Computer and technology knowledge: Candidates must have knowledge of Word processing software, Database software, Data analysis software, Presentation software, Spreadsheet, MS Excel, MS Word, Internet and MS Windows

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks, pay attention to detail and also sit

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should have specialization on correspondence and also reports and records


  • The candidate should be able to receive and register documents for data entry, verify accuracy and completeness of data and also store, update and maintain databases and also classify, label and store diskettes/ disks and tapes of data
  • The candidate should be able to enter data according to specified format, transfer data between software, create digital records using a scanner and also transfer handwritten data to Excel or Word documents
  • The candidate should be able to perform backup procedures and also perform general office duties
