Salary: $14.50 to $16.50 hourly (to be negotiated) 20 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent employment
Location: Truro, NS
Shifts: Early Morning, 04:30 to 08:30
Transportation information: The candidates should have own transport
Work setting: Cleaning service company, Commercial building, Shopping centre or mall
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be client focus, reliable, dependable, flexible, initiative, organized, and be able to work as a team player
- The candidate should have values and ethics
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
- The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, provide basic information on facilities
- The candidates should be able to pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns
