Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have College Diploma in Electronics or related field
Experience: Candidates should have 2 years of experience in building automation systems or a related field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should understand job safety on the work site, including the use of ladders and scaffolding
  • The candidates should have the ability to work with limited supervision while performing building operations-related duties in all areas of the campus
  • The candidates should comply with the safe operation and maintenance of all related tools and shop equipment
  • The candidates should be aware of hazards involved with work and safety measures to be taken

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess knowledge of building operations and their maintenance
  • The candidates should have knowledge of HVAC, electrical components, programming, and control systems
  • The candidates should be able to read and interpret manuals related to the job
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to follow through and carry out assignments
  • The candidates should have knowledge of FMP (Facility Management Program) policies and procedures
  • The candidates should possess effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • The candidates should be able to work effectively individually or as part of a team of diverse groups
  • The candidates should be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers
  • The candidates should be proficient in reading and writing English

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to install, maintain, program, operate, and optimize the building automation system
  • The candidates should be able to ensure the indoor comfort levels for the building occupants are maintained
  • The candidates should be able to focus strongly on customer service while performing these duties
  • The candidates should be able to work under the supervision of the Manager, Building Operations
