Fort McMurray Licensing and Registry provides a comprehensive range of registry services. These include motor vehicle registrations, driver’s license renewals, corporate services, vital statistics, and personal property searches. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The position of Cashier supervisor – retail is approved by LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment)

Salary: $21.30 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time, On site
Location: #300, 10003 Biggs Ave, Fort McMurray, AB T9H 1S4
Shifts: Day, Weekend,  Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Supervision: 5-10 people and Cashiers

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, be able to work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be attentive to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, be flexible in adapting to different tasks, accurate in performing tasks, and focused on client needs and be well-organized
  • The candidates should be reliable and strong team players

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assign sales workers to duties, hire and train or arrange for training of staff, and establish work schedules
  • The candidates should be able to prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, and resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • The candidates should be able to supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
