Chinook Cheese Ltd. based in Calgary, AB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Cheese Factory Worker. Chinook Cheese Ltd. is known to specialize in delicious, fresh, nutritious artisanal cheeses & yogurts. We use Canadian Dairy Milk in all of our products. We always know it comes from a trusted source and we are happy to support the community in which we live. The rich, natural flavour comes through in every one of our cheeses and yogurt products. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $24.00 hourly for 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Work Setting: Cheese makers, Food processing plant
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates should have standard educational qualification such as Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided.
Type of operation: Fermenting, Packaging
Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be efficient and a good team player.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should operate machinery to process and bag, box or otherwise package food products, perform corrective machine adjustments, record production information, clean machines and immediate work areas
- The candidate should inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities, maintain shift log of production and other data, set up and adjust processing and packaging machines, check products for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards.
