Radium Park Lodge based in Springs, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Clerk, hotel front desk. Radium Park Lodge is a charming 2-star hotel offering a comfortable and affordable stay. Salary: $17.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of their work

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong client focus, prioritizing customer needs and satisfaction
  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, fostering positive and productive communication with clients and colleagues
  • The candidates should exhibit excellent oral communication skills, conveying information clearly and effectively
  • The candidates should demonstrate excellent written communication skills, presenting information in a clear and concise manner
  • The candidates should be organized, demonstrating the ability to structure and manage tasks efficiently
  • The candidates should be team players, collaborating effectively with colleagues

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to register arriving guests and assign rooms, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • The candidates should be able to investigate and resolve complaints and claims, process guests’ departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
  • The candidates should be able to maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, follow emergency and safety procedures, and perform clerical duties (i.e., faxing, filing, photocopying)
  • The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and provide customer service
