Salary: $18.12 to $19.99 hourly (To be negotiated) for 20 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Part time leading to full time
Location: Winnipeg, MB
Shifts: Evening, Night, Weekend
Transportation information: Own Transportation, Own Vehicle, and Public Transportation Is Available
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Own tools/equipment:Â Steel-Toed Safety Boots, Hard Hat, Safety Glasses/Goggles, Gloves, and Safety Vest
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and perform physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be able to work with tight deadlines, demonstrate manual dexterity, and perform repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, pay attention to detail, and demonstrate hand-eye co-ordination
- The candidates should be able to work overtime when required, demonstrate sound discrimination, and sit for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate, client-focused, dependable, and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, be flexible, reliable, and a team player
- The candidates should be hardworking and committed to their responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, and read blueprints to determine work requirements
- The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, and perform routine maintenance work
- The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
