Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a 3-year diploma/degree in organizational development, adult education, communications, or a related field
Experience: Candidates should have 3 years of demonstrated experience in a related position with recent experience in transformation/change management initiatives
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work collaboratively with others to support establishing and achieving collective goals
- The candidates should be able to use interpersonal skills to build working relationships and provide excellent customer service
- The candidates should be able to think critically about how processes flow and how to build systems, showcasing analytical thinking
- The candidates should be able to balance a collaborative spirit with the ability to take initiative and act independently to advance initiatives
- The candidates should be able to balance many different tasks, stay organized, plan, and integrate multiple streams of information, prioritize, and track multiple projects to meet a demanding workload and keep things running smoothly
Other Requirements:
- The candidates must have experience and a passion for developing others through training or coaching strategies
- The candidates should have good communication experience (i.e., conveying information to diverse audiences in a way that is easily understood and actionable)
- The candidates should have education in Project Management or Project Management certification, which would be an asset
- The candidates should have experience with or education in Statistics, which is considered an asset
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assess data literacy needs for organizational priorities based on Sheridan’s strategic plan and research the cultural mindset required for a data-driven approach, considering impacts for major stakeholders
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with CPOD and EDI to plan for managing resistance, develop coaching plans, and determine the impact of diversity on organizational culture transformation projects and learning initiatives
- The candidates should be able to design communication plans, feedback mechanisms, and coordinate showcases for existing data-driven efforts, prioritizing influencers and contributors, while also establishing plans to measure and improve data literacy within the college
- The candidates should be able to develop an approach to create a safe environment for stakeholders, assess business data literacy readiness, and determine SMART benefits, while also recommending reward and recognition strategies and planning creative initiatives to foster a positive culture for participation in data literacy programs
