Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of experience as a supervisor or in leading teams

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to lead and inspire associates to build relationships with customers, associates, and peers to provide exceptional customer service and achieve top-line sales through strong merchandising and product knowledge and ensure department staffing levels meet business
  • The candidates should be able to manage associate performance through development, communication, rewards, recognition, and ongoing feedback
  • The candidates should be able to review sales and other reports, and work with the assistant manager to make recommendations for improvement on inventory, overhead organization, and cross-merchandising to drive sales
  • The candidates should be able to maintain 100% in-stock levels and ensure adherence to overhead organizational plans
  • The candidates should be able to investigate, resolve, and escalate customer issues as appropriate
  • The candidates should be able to communicate store sales, event, and promotional activities through rallies and weekly department meetings
  • The candidates should be able to ensure that all Safety and Asset Protection standards and protocols are clearly communicated and followed
