Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed a degree in accounting, business, economics, finance
Experience: Candidates should have plus one year of experience in the relevant field

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have completed a diploma in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related program plus two (2) years of recent related experience
  • The candidates should have completed one (1) year of post-secondary education or CPA preparatory courses plus three (3) years of recent related experience
  • The candidates should be able to interpret and apply tax legislation, regulations, and policy
  • The candidates should be able to review and analyze legal documents such as contracts, purchase agreements, and financial statements
  • The candidates should be experienced in reviewing financial accounts or auditing financial transactions
  • The candidates should have experience with full-cycle bookkeeping and at least two (2) years of experience using Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level (working with multiple worksheets, finding and replacing data, sub-totaling, sorting and filtering large data sets, applying basic formulas, data imports, and working with text data)
  • The candidates should have experience in more than one of the above-listed related experiences
  • The candidates should be familiar with using taxpayer administration, compliance, and services systems
  • The candidates should be experienced in dealing with potentially hostile or contentious situations and phone calls
