Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work varying shifts and hours based on operational needs, with flexibility to accommodate assigned shifts
- The candidates should be able to work shifts of varying lengths depending on events taking place at Canadian Blood Services fixed and mobile donor centers, work days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
- The candidates should be able to travel for mobile events in communities, with transportation provided by Canadian Blood Services
- The candidates should be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting weights up to 10 kg (22 lbs.)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have demonstrate with previous experience working with volunteers
- The candidates should have demonstrate technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook, and the ability to learn new systems and programs
- The candidates should have communicate in a second language, which would be considered an asset to support a positive donor experience
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to use their communication and people skills to build and promote a positive donor experience while encouraging donations
- The candidates should be able to work effectively in a diverse team environment to ensure successful donor centre events
- The candidates should be able to utilize organization skills and attention to detail to prepare workstations, including setting up computers, printers, and appointment schedules while updating the booking system
- The candidates should be able to assist in setting up booths, tables, and equipment at mobile donor events to ensure clinics are properly arranged for use
