Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Credentials: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Immunization records

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to demonstrate punctuality and showcase dependability in their work
• The candidates should be able to exhibit efficient interpersonal skills, possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and showcase flexibility in their approach
• The candidates should be able to demonstrate interpersonal awareness, exercise good judgment in decision-making, and show reliability in completing assignments
• The candidates should be able to work well as a team player, uphold values and ethics, multitask effectively, and bring creativity to their work

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
• The candidates should be able to lead activities, including storytelling, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
• The candidates should support early childhood educators in carrying out programs for children’s development, assist in record-keeping, and engage children in various activities
• The candidates should guide children in proper habits, maintain daycare equipment, assist in housekeeping and cooking, prepare snacks, observe for potential issues, and collaborate with co-workers and community service providers to ensure the health, security, and well-being of children
