Salary: $27.50 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Vancouver, BC
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Overtime

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to develop risk management plans and inspect/select sites
  • The candidates should be able to develop marketing and communication plans, as well as develop media strategies and public relations activities
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities, attend to related details, and coordinate set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems, and other details for special events
  • The candidates should be able to set up and monitor, or arrange for the setting up and monitoring of multimedia equipment, plan schedules, goals, and objectives, and research and design special events programs
  • The candidates should be able to develop policies and procedures, attend to other management responsibilities, and manage event logistics
