Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed College/CEGEP education
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 year to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Accounting
Computer and technology knowledge: Accounting software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, QuickBooks, MS Office

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong attention to detail and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be capable of working under pressure

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should perform tasks with a high level of accuracy and possess efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should excel in written communication and demonstrate flexibility in their work
  • The candidates should exercise sound judgment in decision-making, maintain a high level of organization, and be recognized for their reliability
  • The candidates should be collaborative team players and adept at time management

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to calculate and prepare cheques for payroll and keep financial records using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • The candidates should be able to maintain general ledgers, post journal entries, and prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
  • The candidates should be able to prepare tax returns, a trial balance of books, and reconcile accounts
