Les Sables Olimag Inc. based in Thetford Mines, QC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Factory Labourer-Manufacturing. Les Sables Olimag Inc. can be termed as producer of silica free nontoxic sand, abrasive sand, refractory sand, geothermal grout, traction sand, waterjet cutting sand. Our produced sand is known to be non-toxic, they hold no heavy metals of any kind and are not listed as a hazardous product under the Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS). We have made our way as a leader for synthetic olivine production (magnesium silicate) through thermal calcination. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Work Site Environment: Dusty, Hot, Noisy, Cold/refrigerated
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset, training will be provided
Security and Safety: Criminal record check
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks
- The candidate should be able to handle heavy loads and work with manual dexterity
- The candidate should be able to work with hand-eye coordination
- The candidate should be physically demanding and a combination of standing for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a punctual way and be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment also check and weight materials and products
- The candidate should be able to sort, pack, crate and package materials and products also assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers
- The candidate should be able to perform other laboring and elemental activities also clean machines and immediate work areas
