Location: 5527 SNOWBRUSH ST, Oliver, BC, V0H 1T9
Shifts: Day, Evening, On Call, Flexible Hours, Early Morning and Morning
Work setting: Rural area
Work site environment: Candidates should work in fruit and vegetable combination farming, wet/damp, noisy, dusty, hot and cold/refrigerated place
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Type of crops: Apples, Bell peppers, Cherries, Grapes, Tomatoes and Zucchinis
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work under pressure, in fast-paced environment, maintain tight deadlines, handle heavy loads, pay attention to detail, distinguish between colours, sit, stand for extended periods, walk and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be physically strong
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have experience of equipment and machinery like Farm truck and also Tractor
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able for budding trees, clipping, fruit trees training, greenhouse cleaning, lowering, mixing fertilizer, shoot positioning and also suckering
- The candidate should be able to hoe crops, plant, cultivate and irrigate crops and also fertilize and spray crops
