Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Experience: Candidates should have 5 to 6 years of experience in finance and accounting field
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have 5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field and 5+ years of experience in multiple finance and accounting roles
- The candidates should demonstrate 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience and 6+ years of experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- The candidates should exhibit 6+ years of experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making and showcase 6+ years of experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- The candidates should have 6+ years of experience participating in continuous improvement projects in their team to scale and improve controller ship with measurable results
- The candidates should demonstrate an ability to influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment
- The candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, or business, or a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance)
- The candidates should have experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem-solving, with 6+ years of experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause, creating/implementing an escalation plan and experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel
- The candidates should possess 6+ years of experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business such as financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits
- The candidates should have experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos and other financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards and have knowledge of SQL/ETL
- The candidates should demonstrate experience in delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to utilize solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon, which may have a global impact
- The candidates should be able to be responsible for delivering weekly/monthly financial close, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and consolidations utilizing financial systems and advanced Excel functions
- The candidates should be able to create effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance during unexpected events
- The candidates should be able to intuitively utilize active listening skills to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting their style based on the audience, to articulate complex finance issues
- The candidates should be able to be responsible for collecting and analyzing quantitative data to develop relevant reports leading to cost reductions
- The candidates should be able to manage a direct report and take part in hiring, developing, and mentoring activities while seeking value and leveraging diverse perspectives
- The candidates should be able to proactively identify opportunities to resolve finance defects and improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations
