Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have a certificate or diploma in Business Administration
Experience: Candidates should have should have 3 years of experience in lending and adjudication or possess three to five years of experience in credit and in a financial institution, or an equivalent combination of training and experience in credit
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to conduct personal or telephone interviews with applicants to obtain personal and financial data to determine lending and/or investment needs
- The candidates should be able to compile a loan package and negotiate loan structure with the applicant, including rates, terms, repayment options, and other credit terms
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate strong communication, lending, and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- The candidates should have experience working with various software and demonstrate proven technical ability

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to conduct personal or telephone interviews with applicants to obtain personal and financial data to determine lending and/or investment needs
- The candidates should be able to analyze applicant financial status, credit, and property evaluation to determine the feasibility of granting a loan, either approving or declining it within approved lending limits or referring it to the next higher approving position level with recommendations
- The candidates should be able to prepare documentation for loan renewals, loan payment extensions, and substitution of loan securities
- The candidates should be able to analyze the current local market and potential trends to plan and develop relationship-building activities
- The candidates should be able to analyze potential opportunities involved in each situation to further assist the member and cross-sell borrowers on the benefits of utilizing other credit union services
- The candidates should be able to provide individual financial counseling and information to members on loan services and deposit products available through the credit union, making referrals for those requiring financial planning advice
- The candidates should be able to monitor account overdraft activity to ensure accounts operate within limits and qualify from a risk standpoint, taking appropriate action to minimize losses to the credit union
- The candidates should be able to initiate collection action, contacting delinquent borrowers in person, by telephone, or by mail, to encourage prompt repayment of delinquent accounts and working with delinquent borrowers to recover principal, interest, and security
- The candidates should be able to ensure adherence to Credit Union policies and procedures as well as legislative requirements
- The candidates should be able to complete reports and other duties as assigned
