Salary: $16.55 to $18.50 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, being of legal age
  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns and provide customer service
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables, present bills, and accept payments
  • The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, advise on menu selections, and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation
  • The candidates should be able to balance cash, record sales, and clear/clean tables, trays, and chairs
  • The candidates should be able to describe and advise on wine selection, order and maintain inventory, and perform sensory evaluation of wines
  • The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • The candidates should be able to supervise other servers and bussing staff, take orders, and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
  • The candidates should be able to schedule staff, train staff, and assist clients/guests with special needs
