Shenanigans Bar & Grill based in Conception Bay South, NL is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Food service supervisor. Shenanigans Bar & Grill is a full service bar and grill. Whether traveling for business, leisure, an intimate gathering, or a large event, our restaurant has everything to meet the needs of people including an on-site restaurant, lounge, bar, room service, meeting space, and more. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $14.00 hourly 35 to 40 hours per week

Work setting: Restaurant, Bar
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- The candidates should be able to train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, hire food service staff, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- The candidates should be able to recruit and hire staff, manage kitchen operations, inspect kitchens and food service areas, prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
- The candidates should be able to prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, clean kitchen and work areas
- The candidates should be able to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
