Supervision: 1 to 2 people, 3-4 people, 5-10 people, 11-15 people, 16-20 people, or More than 20 people, Plumbers, Gasfitters, Steamfitters, Pipefitters, Sprinkler system installers, Apprentices, Working groups, Trades helpers, Labourers

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Credentials: Gas Fitter Trade Certification, Plumber Trade Certification, Steamfitter and Pipefitter Trade Certification, Plumber Red Seal Certificate, Steamfitter and Pipefitter Red Seal Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CADD Course, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate, Gas Fitter Red Seal Certificate
Security and safety: Basic security clearance, Driving record check (abstract)

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive taskers
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to work under tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be able to work in wet/damp areas, in a noisy area, in odors, in outdoors, in hot areas, in dusty areas, at heights, and in cold/refrigerated areas

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be punctual, accurate, client focus, dependable, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prepare production and other reports, supervise workers and projects
  • The candidates should be able to recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions, train or arrange for training
  • The candidates should be able to estimate costs and materials, operate CADD and other computer software systems
  • The candidates should be able to co-ordinate and schedule activities, ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • The candidates should be able to recommend personnel actions, establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units
  • The candidates should be able to requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies, resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity
