Work setting: Construction and Residential
Supervision: 3-4 people and Staff in various areas of responsibility
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles, and Safety vest
Security and safety: Bondable
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and able to work in noisy environments
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure and be willing to work overtime as required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate, organized, and reliable, with a client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, and initiative, while being a team player

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare production and other reports, recommend measures to improve productivity, and resolve work problems while providing technical advice
- The candidates should be able to supervise workers and projects, co-ordinate and schedule activities, and oversee apprenticeship training
- The candidates should be able to train or arrange for training, estimate costs and materials, and set up equipment
- The candidates should be able to ensure health and safety regulations are followed, recommend personnel actions, and establish methods to meet work schedules
- The candidates should be able to read blueprints and drawings, requisition materials and supplies, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
