Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have at least 3rd year standing in a B.Sc. or M.Sc. program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Experience: Candidates should have experience with hardware building blocks and circuit boards

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be proactive, motivated, organized, efficient and high attention to detail
  • The candidates should have strong interpersonal, communication skills and demonstrate flexibility and the ability to multi-task

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be familiar with basic wireless communication standards
  • The candidates should be knowledgeable in digital signal processing theory and/or RTL realizations of DSP functions, demonstrating strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • The candidates should be proficient in programming, including FPGA design and verification coding in Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL, as well as scripting languages such as Python, Perl, TCL, and Make
  • The candidates should have knowledge of design principles for FPGA timing, clocking, reset strategies, logic synthesis, and placement and routing
  • The candidates should have an understanding of testing and verification processes

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to develop FPGA code for Radio products
  • The candidates should be able to define verification requirements and develop test cases to secure new and legacy functionality
  • The candidates should be able to troubleshoot and contribute to the resolution of issues uncovered during verification and integration
  • The candidates should be able to automate aspects of the development flow using scripting languages
  • The candidates should be able to work with the team, and on their own, to perform software/hardware integration verification in the lab
  • The candidates should be able to perform hands-on subsystem or system verification of the delivered functionality
  • The candidates should be able to review design documentation, RTL code, test documentation, verification implementation and able to report on verification results
