True Blue Farms Ltd based in Delta, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of General Farm Worker. True Blue Farms Ltd is owned and operated by Dennis and Shelly Hartmann. We have been a long time tradition in our family dating back four generations to the mid 1900’s. In 1993, we started our first farm with just 25 acres of blueberries. As of today, we are now one of the largest growers in North America, producing and marketing millions of pounds of premium quality blueberries. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $19.50 per hour for 40 hours per week

Location: Delta, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Early Morning and Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able for cleaning crop, mixing fertilizer and also seed cutting
- The candidate should be able to feed inventory, maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment and also set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops
- The candidate should be able to soil fertility programs and also fertilize and spray crops
- The candidate should be able to clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens and also detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry
