Crowne Plaza Moncton Downtown is a prestigious hotel renowned for its luxurious accommodations and exceptional hospitality. Situated in the heart of downtown Moncton, the Crowne Plaza offers modern and stylish guest rooms and suites equipped with upscale amenities and stunning city views. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $16.00 to $17.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 32 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Computer and technology knowledge: Multi-line switchboard, Word processing software, Central reservation system (CRS), Spreadsheet, Internet, and Opera

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail in their work and be capable of working effectively under pressure
  • The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable standing for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should prioritize client focus in their interactions and tasks and exhibit dependability in fulfilling their responsibilities consistently
  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication and demonstrate excellent oral communication abilities
  • The candidates should exhibit excellent written communication skills and show flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances
  • The candidates should exercise good judgment in decision-making situations and be organized in managing tasks and responsibilities
  • The candidates should be reliable in fulfilling their duties consistently and work effectively as part of a team, fostering collaboration

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process group arrivals and departures
  • The candidates should be able to take, cancel, and change room reservations, and provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • The candidates should be able to investigate and resolve complaints and claims, and exchange foreign currency
  • The candidates should be able to process guests’ departures, calculate charges, receive payments, and balance cash
  • The candidates should be able to maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, and follow emergency and safety procedures
  • The candidates should be able to perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, and answer telephone calls, relay messages, and handle wake-up calls
  • The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and provide customer service
