Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Rural area and urban area
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Transportation/travel experience: local, and regional
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Criminal record check, driver’s validity licence check, and driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail in their work and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be capable of meeting tight deadlines and working effectively under pressure
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, able to handle heavy loads, and comfortable with walking as part of their duties
- The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, and demonstrate professionalism in customer service
- The candidates should be able to receive and relay information to central dispatch, keep a record of items received and delivered, and prepare, package, and restock goods
- The candidates should be able to load and unload goods, follow directions and read maps, and use maps and other trip planning aids
- The candidates should be able to record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems, provide customer service, perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
