Salary: $23.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time
Location: Ottawa, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, To be determined, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation
Supervision: 5-10 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: Android, iOS, MAC, Linux, Internet, desktop applications, Mac OS, MS Office, MS Windows, spreadsheet, and wireless networks

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure and pay attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to sit

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accurate, client-focused, and have efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should have excellent oral and written communication and take initiative
  • The candidates should have good judgment, be able to work as a team player, and be honest

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to respond to users experiencing difficulties with computers, consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions, and provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
  • The candidates should be able to collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts and participate in the redesign of applications and other software
  • The candidates should be able to supervise other technical support workers in this group, provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties, and provide customer service
