Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be capable of handling loads up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as required for the job

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate punctuality, consistently arriving on time for work and commitments, and exhibit dependability, reliably fulfilling assigned tasks and responsibilities
• The candidates should show flexibility, adapting to changing circumstances and tasks, and take initiative, proactively contributing to the success of the team
• The candidates should exercise good judgment in decision-making and problem-solving and be organized, maintaining a systematic approach to tasks

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
• International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• The candidates should be able to shop for food and household supplies, address customers’ complaints or concerns, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings
• The candidates should be able to vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, stock the linen closet, and pick up debris and empty trash containers
• The candidates should be able to handle and report lost and found items, dust furniture, and disinfect operating rooms and other areas
• The candidates should be able to distribute clean towels and toiletries, attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items, and make beds and change sheets
• The candidates should be able to provide basic information on facilities, sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
