Supervision: 1 to 2 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Outlook

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work under pressure
  • The candidates should be adept at managing tight deadlines and be comfortable with repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be attentive to detail and capable of handling a large workload

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to multitask and be accurate in their work
  • The candidates should have a client-focused approach and possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • The candidates should exhibit flexibility and be organized, reliable team players
  • The candidates should have good judgment, be quick learners, and demonstrate strong time management skills

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc., and supervise other workers, training them as needed
  • The candidates should be able to determine and establish office procedures and routines, schedule and confirm appointments, and answer the telephone, relaying calls and messages, including electronic enquiries
  • The candidates should be able to compile data, statistics, and other information, order office supplies, and maintain inventory
  • The candidates should be able to greet people, direct them to contacts or service areas, and set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • The candidates should be able to type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, responding to employee questions and complaints
  • The candidates should be able to perform basic bookkeeping tasks and manage contracts, consulting with clients after the sale to provide ongoing support
  • The candidates should be able to assign, co-ordinate, and review projects and programs, perform data entry, and provide customer service
  • The candidates should be able to plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
