Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 8 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Casual employment Part time leading to full time
Location: Vancouver, BC
Shifts: Day, Night, Weekend, On Call, Flexible Hours, To be determined, 11:00 to 23:00
Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Private residence
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Filipino
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
- The candidates should be capable of handling repetitive tasks and have attention to detail
- The candidates should be physically fit for demanding tasks and capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should be able to walk for extended periods and handle weights of up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

- The candidates should be punctual and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have a client focus and excellent oral communication
- The candidates should be dependable and flexible
- The candidates should demonstrate initiative and be organized

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, as well as vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- The candidates should be able to dust furniture and clean changing rooms and showers.
- The candidates should be able to make beds, change sheets, and launder clothing and household linens
- The candidates should be able to distribute clean towels and toiletries and stock linen closet
- The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, as well as disinfect operating rooms and other areas
- The candidates should be able to handle and report lost and found items and attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
- The candidates should be able to provide basic information on facilities and pick up debris and empty trash containers
- The candidates should be able to mend clothing and linens and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to shop for food and household supplies and wash windows, walls, and ceilings
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns
