Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Uniform
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Bondable and Criminal record check

Candidate Status:

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors thoroughly to maintain cleanliness and hygiene
  • The candidates should be able to dust furniture diligently, ensuring that surfaces are free from dust and debris
  • The candidates should be able to vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture efficiently, removing dirt and allergens to maintain cleanliness
  • The candidates should be able to make beds and change sheets regularly, providing fresh and comfortable bedding for occupants
  • The candidates should be able to distribute clean towels and toiletries appropriately, ensuring that individuals have access to necessary personal care items
  • The candidates should be able to stock linen closets with clean linens and supplies, ensuring that an adequate inventory is maintained for guests’ needs
  • The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, maintaining sanitation and hygiene in these areas
  • The candidates should be able to disinfect operating rooms and other areas according to established protocols and standards, ensuring a safe and sterile environment
  • The candidates should be able to clean and disinfect elevators regularly, ensuring cleanliness and safety for users
  • The candidates should be able to handle and report lost and found items promptly, assisting guests with lost belongings and following appropriate procedures
  • The candidates should be able to attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items promptly and courteously, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • The candidates should be able to provide basic information on facilities to guests, assisting with inquiries and enhancing their experience
  • The candidates should be able to pick up debris and empty trash containers regularly, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in common areas
  • The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed, addressing various cleaning tasks to maintain a clean environment
  • The candidates should be able to wash windows, walls, and ceilings thoroughly, removing dirt, stains, and marks to enhance the appearance of the facility
  • The candidates should be able to clean changing rooms and showers meticulously, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in these areas
  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction
