Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Employment equity, human resources, training and professional development, business process management, corporate social responsibility
Computer and technology knowledge: Human resources software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, internet, accounting software
Credentials: Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP)
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to work independently, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be capable of working under pressure
  • The candidates should have strong attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to coordinate the activities of the HR department to meet the organization’s goals, evaluate and plan daily operations, and motivate and train staff
  • The candidates should be able to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs, review HR projects for compliance with laws and regulations, and establish and implement policies and procedures
  • The candidates should be able to oversee the classification and rating of occupations, coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs, and research employee benefits and health and safety practices to recommend changes
  • The candidates should be able to oversee the preparation of reports, advise senior management, respond to employee questions and complaints, and liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants
  • The candidates should be able to organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, provide customer service, manage knowledge, offer coaching, and propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures
