Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a post-secondary degree in Human Resources and Business Administration
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a human resources role, ideally within a large, complex, and diverse organization

- The candidates should excel in relationship building with all partners and levels within the organization, inspiring confidence in the HRBP role and hold a CPHR or another recognized designation
- The candidates should have healthcare or public sector experience, preferably within a unionized environment or an organization with multiple legislative requirements
- The candidates should have project management experience, particularly with complex initiatives and possess experience in group facilitation and conflict resolution
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to deliver, integrate, and evaluate human resources processes, frameworks, and solutions for an assigned client group, ensuring alignment with Alberta Health Services (AHS) provincial strategies, priorities, and best practices
- The candidates should be able to provide focused HR advice on workforce initiatives, including performance management, collective agreement interpretation, workplace assessments, mediation, conflict management, and investigations for both unionized and non-unionized workforces
- The candidates should be able to foster and maintain collaborative working relationships with operational leaders, HR networks, service centers, and Union representatives to support positive outcomes
- The candidates should be able to interpret client needs, assess requirements, and develop solutions for non-standard HR issues, engaging HR Centres of Expertise
- The candidates should be able to offer direct HR support to senior leadership within the client group, while coaching and mentoring HR Business Partnerships (HRBP) team members
- The candidates should be able to travel within the designated Zone as required for the position
