Salary: $45,000 to $48,000 annually (To be negotiated) 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 5 Shields Ct suite 100 Markham, ON L3R 0G3

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college/CEGEP or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Area of specialization: Interior design (general), kitchen, furniture design, project management, residential, construction, and kitchen cabinets and vanities

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be accurate and prioritize client focus
• The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and exhibit flexibility
• The candidates should show initiative and be organized
• The candidates should be a team player

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
• International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to estimate the cost of projects and prepare detailed specifications
• The candidates should be able to work collaboratively with other disciplines
• The candidates should be able to create interior spaces that reflect clients’ needs and tastes
• The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings
• The candidates should be able to advise on the selection of colors, finishes, materials, lighting, furniture, and other items, considering ergonomic and occupational health standards
• The candidates should be able to consult with clients to determine needs, preferences, safety requirements, and the purpose of the space
• The candidates should be able to develop detailed plans and 3-D models illustrating the arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting, and other fixtures
• The candidates should be able to develop plans, elevations, cross-sections, and detailed drawings
