Salary: $19.00 hourly for 30 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Morning
Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers
- The candidates should be physically fit to handle demanding tasks and repetitive tasks, capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as necessary
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, able to sit, stand for extended periods, and walk as necessary for the job
- The candidates should be proficient in weight handling, capable of lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs) safely
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize punctuality in their attendance and demonstrate dependability in fulfilling their responsibilities
- The candidates should prioritize client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral communication abilities and exhibit flexibility in their approach to tasks and schedules
- The candidates should show initiative in taking on tasks and solving problems proactively, while exercising good judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should maintain organization in their work habits and be reliable in meeting commitments and deadlines
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, administer medications, and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise, such as walking, and feed or assist in feeding
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship and personal care
