Salary: $17.00 hourly for 13 to 21 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time
Location: Markham, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible Hours, Morning
Work setting: Private sector, Urban area, and Relocation costs not covered by employer

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Mandarin and Cantonese
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic mail, Spreadsheet, MS Word, and MS Windows
Own tools/equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Child Abuse Registry check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be capable of working efficiently under pressure
  • The candidates should demonstrate meticulous attention to detail
  • The candidates should be comfortable with tasks that involve sitting for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should excel in oral communication
  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in adapting to various situations
  • The candidates should be organized in their approach to tasks and responsibilities
  • The candidates should be reliable in meeting commitments and deadlines

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, providing basic information to clients and the public
  • The candidates should be able to obtain and process information required to provide services, record and relay information, and schedule and confirm appointments
  • The candidates should be able to send invoices, maintain work records and logs, and receive and issue payments
  • The candidates should be able to perform clerical duties, such as filing and sorting and distributing mail, answer the telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • The candidates should be able to calculate billing charges and provide directory assistance
